I first began my public speaking career at 15 years-old. I was tour guide on Theodore Tugboat and the Harbour Hopper in Halifax in my high school years. I quickly realized sharing stories about my city’s rich history was not only something I enjoyed immensely, but I was good at it! Little did I know then, that my audience would grow from 50 to 50,000+ a few years later in my roles as host, weather anchor and reporter with CTV Atlantic and Global News.
I still get the same high I experienced when I was teenager when I speak in front crowds. Some people fear public speaking, and don’t get me wrong, the healthy nerves still exist, but there’s nothing that makes me feel more alive then getting up in front of a crowded room and getting an audience going— I feed off of their energy.
Since 2010, I have emceed, hosted and moderated dozens of events, conferences, ceremonies, galas, and fundraisers across the region. I can help take your next event to the next level by keeping the crowd engaged and entertained, while ensuring key-messages are shared with the audience. I’m here to create a memorable, and enjoyable occasion for all, while keeping things on track and on time so you and your team can enjoy time with your guests.
